NJIT Informatics Professorship: Visiting Professors
On occasion, we have visiting professor positions available. In such circumstances, the Informatics Department would be seeking outstanding visiting faculty at the senior and junior levels. Faculty can be from any of the broad areas of Information Science, Information Technology, and Data Systems. Visiting faculty should have an active research program and be appointed as a faculty member at a peer institution. The Informatics Department is part of NJIT's Ying Wu College of Computing.
Responsibilities
Visiting faculty will be expected to be engaged with faculty in the department, provide talks, or engage graduate students in a seminar.
Funding and Support
The NJIT Visiting Professor positions are funded. The senior and junior positions cover a substantial amount of faculty member’s salary at their host institution. Visiting faculty have their office, access to all research labs and equipment, medical insurance (if needed), and support of the NJIT university services.
